The
History
Bagshaw Hall is a Listed Building of historical interest dating back to
c.1650.
The main hall has many original features including high-corniced ceilings,
fully panelled rooms, stone and Ashford marble fireplaces, 300 year-old
oak flooring, Queen Anne panelling and period window shutters. The Hall
has been refurbished and redecorated in sympathy with its history. Each
area of the building has been specially designed using strong rich colours,
the latest wallpapers and an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary
furniture and lighting; and this mix provides a setting of individual style
combined with comfort and luxury.
There is an historic garden area to front of building with outside seating
and croquet lawn looking over the town rooftops and to the golf course on
the other side of the valley. A gravel car park to rear of building provides
private parking. |
| The
Facilities
The main entrance to Bagshaw
Hall leads into a reception lounge with large sofas for relaxation,
offering an interesting range of books to read, along with daily newspapers
and magazines. There are two panelled rooms available for use as private
meeting / dining functions. These areas can be accessed from all of the
suites and apartments. A directory and guest pack are available, which
contain the telephone numbers, addresses and some web links of local restaurants,
pubs, takeaways, supermarkets, specialist shops, hairdressers, health
clubs and spas, golf courses and local tourist attractions. Lounges and
suite bedrooms have flat screen T.V’s and CD players with ipod dock
and radio, and WiFi Broadband. The stylish furnishings provide areas of
relaxation and every home comfort. The bedrooms vary in style from contemporary
leather beds and mirrored cabinets to French chateau carved king size
beds and furnishings. The bathrooms are contemporary – some with
whirlpool baths, separate spacious showers, mirrored walls, heated towel
rails, robes and special toiletries. A number of the suites and apartments
can be configured to provide a combination of extended facilities ideal
for family or friends travelling together, wedding parties, special events
or a business convention, allowing the whole of Bagshaw
Hall to be reserved for a private occasion. Ask
about our outside catering services which can be organised within the
apartments, meeting room and private dining room.
